What is Self-esteem?

Self-esteem is about having a positive attitude towards yourself. Therefore, self-esteem involves loving and respecting yourself.

Not everyone has the same self-esteem. We can see people who undervalue themselves to the point of not loving themselves as they are; or others to whom the opposite happens.

Self-efficacy and self-dignity are the fundamental characteristics of self-esteem; the lack of any of them deteriorates it.
