Skin Renewal ProcessQ. What’s Skin Renewal Process?

A. The skin cells of the outer layer epidermis are created at the lowest sub layer of the epidermis. The skin cells undergo the mitotic division process where new and identical cells are formed. These fresh cells are then moving upwards to the surface of the skin. This movement is referred to as keratinocytes process, which cells travel through the 5 sub layers and change shapes. When they finally reached to the surface of the skin, they become dehydrated and hardened due to the filling of keratin protein.
